There are six beach signs, one at each of our six main beach access points, displaying the associated by-laws that need to be adhered to when making use of our beaches.

Please ensure that you are familiar with the by-laws and, if necessary and possible, refer those who are in transgression to the signage. If a transgressor becomes confrontational it is advisable to disengage.

The South African Police Services (SAPS) are not primarily responsible for enforcing the beach by-laws, however they carry the responsibility when Traffic and Policing are not available on the weekends.

SAPS are ALWAYS responsible for responding to criminal and violent transgressions.
