Support Our Beach Warden Initiative for a Safer, Cleaner Bazley Beach

We are reaching out to you with an important request that will benefit us all.

The Bazley Residents Association (BRA) appointed Sthembiso from Gladiator Security as a beach warden on a trial basis in November, and the results have been incredibly positive. Based on this success, we aim to continue these vital beach patrols in December – our busiest and most crucial period.

Why This Matters:

Our beautiful beaches are a treasure we all enjoy, but they face challenges from disruptive groups, by-law violations, and potential safety concerns. Sthembiso’s presence has already made a real difference:

  • Education and Enforcement: During his random patrols, Sthembiso addressed incidents such as fires on the beach and alcohol-related disturbances, ensuring that our beach by-laws are respected. His non-confrontational approach focuses on educating visitors, using a laminated guide to inform them of the by-laws .
  • Enhanced Safety: Beyond enforcing the by-laws, Sthembiso’s presence adds an extra layer of security for residents and holidaymakers alike.

Together, we can protect and preserve the Bazley we love.

Please consider making a contribution today – every bit helps us continue this essential work for our community.

How You Can Help:

To sustain this initiative, we need your support. Contributions to our Beach Warden Fund will directly fund patrol shifts:
