Notice of 2026 Annual Subscription Increase

February marks the end of our financial year, and with that comes an update on annual subscriptions.

After careful consideration, the Bazley Residents Association (B.R.A.) committee has agreed to increase the annual homeowner contribution from R1 400 to R1 500 per household (R125 per month) with effect from March 2026.

We have tried to keep this increase as modest as possible. However, rising costs — particularly around security, staff and ongoing maintenance — mean that an adjustment is necessary to ensure we can continue operating effectively.

The work of the B.R.A. happens quietly but consistently throughout the year. From maintaining roads and filling potholes, to managing security cameras, removing Alien Invasive Plants, keeping our beaches clean, removing deadly snares to protect wildlife, and supporting environmental initiatives — these are ongoing responsibilities, not once-off projects.

The B.R.A. does not receive outside funding. Everything we do is made possible by the voluntary contributions of homeowners.

When residents contribute, the responsibility is shared fairly. When they don’t, the burden falls more heavily on those who do.

We remain deeply grateful to those homeowners who continue to support the Association financially, as well as to the committee members who give generously of their time and expertise throughout the year.

Bazley works because residents care.
