Shangrila Market – a firm South Coast favourite
With its beautiful garden setting, wonderful views and relaxed, friendly atmosphere, the Shangrila Market is quickly becoming a firm favourite on the South Coast.
It’s the perfect way to spend a Sunday morning—browsing the stalls, enjoying live music and catching up with friends over delicious food, an ice-cold beer or a refreshing craft gin. The first two markets have drawn a fantastic mix of Bazley residents and visitors from further afield, creating a lovely community atmosphere.
At the heart of the Shangrila Market are our wonderful stallholders, with a strong focus on proudly local produce, handmade goods and quality products. By supporting them, visitors are not only enjoying something special but are also helping small local businesses and producers grow.
Best of all, the market supports an important local cause. The two markets held so far this year have raised a total of R9 444,00 for the B.R.A. Conservancy, helping to fund the ongoing protection and care of Bazley’s beautiful natural environment.
Join us for our next Shangrila Market on Sunday, 23 August. Bring your family and friends, support our stallholders and settle in for a relaxed morning in one of Bazley’s loveliest settings.
There is ample parking available, with dedicated parking for our older visitors to make access as easy and convenient as possible.
Our final Shangrila Market for 2026 will take place on Sunday, 20 September, so be sure to save the date.
