Eskom Meter Reading & Reporting – Bazley Cheat Sheet

Submitting your own electricity meter reading each month is a simple step that makes a big difference. It ensures you’re billed accurately, based on your actual usage – not an estimate. Here’s a quick and easy guide for Bazley residents.

✅ Step 1: When to Read Your Meter

  • Read your meter between the 23rd and 25th of each month
  • Set a monthly reminder on your phone or calendar

🔍 Step 2: How to Read Your Meter

  • Look for a 5- to 7-digit number on your electricity meter
  • Only record the digits before the decimal point (usually in black or white)

Example:
If your meter displays 001234.56, submit 1234

📸 Tip: Take a photo of your reading – it’s useful for your records.
